Evening visit the Periyar National Park, which extends to 777 sq.km and forms part of the high mountain ranges, the Western Ghat. The best way to see wild life here is cruising on Periyar Lake on a motorboat. Amongst the wild life are the wild elephants, which can be seen and photographed at close quarters, wild boar, sambar, tiger, leopard, wild dog and langur monkeys.

Morning game viewing in the Periyar National Park. Late morning depart Periyar by surface for Kumarakom. Arrive Kumarakom and transfer to the hotel by Jetty.

Rest of the day relax in the quiet atmosphere of the hotel. Bound by the Vebanad Lake on two sides, the swaying paddy fields on one side and a bird sanctuary on the other, Kumarakom is a perfect retreat for small break in the middle of the hectic tour schedule. One can avail Ayurvedic massage or other alternative treatment at and extra cost.

(Kumarakom has a Resort ‘Coconut Lagoon’ built on a 10 acre coconut garden. One can stay here paying a supplement on the land cost).

Morning depart Kumarakom by motor boat on the back water of Vebanad Lake. This two and half hours picturesque cruising will take you to Alleppey and there on drive to Cochin. Arrive Cochin and check in at hotel.

Afternoon proceed for a city tour visiting the Dutch palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Church.

In time transfer to airport to board flight for Madras.
