Morning combined
sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. In Old Delhi visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, drive
past Chandni Chowk visit Raj Ghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. In New Delhi
visit Qutab Minar - 234 feet high tower, nearby stands the Iron pillar, the Tomb of Mughal
Emperor Humayun, the modern Birla Mandir Temple. Drive past India Gate (War Memorial),
President’s House, which was once the Viceroy’s Palace, Parliament House and
Secretarial buildings.

leisure or free for optional activities.

03 DELHI/ JAIPUR (253 Kms)
Depart
Delhi by surface for Jaipur. Arrive and check-in at the hotel.  Afternoon city sightseeing, visiting the
Maharaja’s City Palace which now houses a museum containing rare manuscripts, fine
specimens of Rajput and Mughal paintings and weapons. Observatory and drive past Hawa
Mahal, the Palace of Winds and through the pink-rose residential and business areas.

Morning excursion
to Amber Fort. You ride up to
the ramp of this 11th Century
Bastion atop a gaily-decorated elephant.
Afternoon free for
shopping. Jaipur is a major gems and jewellery centre where one can find some of the
finest Jewellery besides woolen carpets and cotton rugs, hand-block printed Sanganeri and
Bagru cotton fabrics.

Depart Jaipur by
surface for Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri a cultural and imperial capital conceived
and built by Emperor Akbar. Continue your journey to Agra. Arrive and check in at hotel.

Morning visit the world famous Taj Mahal built by Emperor Shahjahan for his beloved queen
Mumtaz Mahal. Also visit Agra Fort, an impressive cluster of palaces, fortresses and
mosques, on the banks of river Yamuna across Taj Mahal. Visit the Shilp Gram - a Crafts
and Performing Art Centre.
Afternoon free for
shopping. Agra is famous for its special kind of marble inlay work executed on trinket and
other souvenirs.
