Bhutan's ecosystem is virtually intact, and boasts the most varied habitats and a rich array of animal and plant species on this classical itinerary of the Bhutan. The snow-capped mountains, time-worn temples and the Buddhist stupas of Bhutan and Tibet never fail to inspire and fire the imagination. In Bhutan the great Himalayas offer scintillating views of some of the highest glacial peaks. As you enter Paro valley, you will see the silvery Pa Chu (Paro River) meandering down the valley, the Paro Dzong (fortress) and Ta Dzong (watch tower). However, Tiger’s nest is the singular most spectacular monastery you find high up on the cliffs of the mountains. Bhutan’s pristine environment, awesome scenery, architectural brilliance and the hospitable charm of the local people is revealed to travelers hungry for new experiences.
